What a chaotic yet fulfilling week it has been. First and foremost I just want to thank everyone who has actively been pouring into me from home this week, I love and miss you all! I all just want to say thank you because I am 100% fundraised!! Anyway let’s dive in…

Friday: so Friday afternoonish i arrive at training camp. This day was full of meeting new people and worship and just kinda settling in.

Saturday: Saturday we had one session and then the parent lunch to say goodbye, this was a tougher lunch saying goodbye to mom and dad. We then spent the day hammocking and had some worship.

Sunday: Sunday was also full of sessions and laughs. I have been learning so much though these sessions. At this point I kinda found the people I vibe with. This day we also got to meet our teams! My team is: me, Kezia, Mieko, Kyah, Mo, Kaylee and Heidi.

Monday: Monday we had more sessions and lots of worship. This day was pretty fulfilling and I started to venture outside my squad and meet some new people on the other squads. We also did lots of team builders after we went and played volleyball.

Tuesday: Tuesday was very similar Monday. Just sessions and worship. Learning a lot. Spent a lot of time with my team and getting to know them better.

Wednesday: Wednesday was revival night which meant we had a lot of free time in the afternoon but the morning was filled with sessions and worship. Revival night was so amazing and so fulfilling. We talked about repentance and being filled with the Holy Spirit and that was super up lifting. One of my squad mates put it this way: “I can’t stop smiling because it feels amazing to loose control to the right thing.” This night I really felt the Lord near to me.

Thursday: Thursday we had some more sessions and more worship. I met some new friends on D Squad!

Friday: Friday is our Sabboth. So this was super restful and fulfilling. We had squad led church and communion and worship. I do take a nap in the sun and read my book. I also don’t time with my squad and just built friendships deeper. I also played spike ball for quite a hot minute in the middle of the day(I was sweating so bad).

And that sums up the last week. It was so full of the Lord and so renewing to the soul.

Ways to be praying;
Continual unity within our squad
Our ministry hosts out on the field
Continual safety

Praises:
Lord has been so faithful
I have grown so close to Him
I LOVE my squad
Lord has started refining me

Well guys that’s all for now! Love you all so much!

  1. Your friend’s quote is going on my chalk board in the kitchen!! Thank her for that! We start Owl creek next week and we will miss you, but oh boy does your refining fire of a year seem right in so many ways! You are loved, thought of, and adored by so many. When you get to the person who may not like you, remember that’s when you know you are , again, doing the right thing. Be the kindness and straight forward woman that you are and I hope you make a new friend! Cuz- you get to be a seed planter, a watered, or a harvester- all great positions to be in. I am pumped by your funding!! You are Loved!!! Kathy & Wayne

  2. I love this so much for you Mackenzie! God our Father will always be with you. Praying for you, your squad & all through great kids doing God’s work through the World Race organization. Love you,
